Our first week

A busy week----Don't they look worn out on the picture on the top right?  This was taken at the end of the day.  I know my little guy fell asleep for a nap after both days of preschool the first week.  We work and play hard here at Morning Light!

First Day

To help ease some of the first day jitters, I read the kids a cute story about a raccoon named Chester who is worried about leaving his mom to go to school.  She teaches him a special trick to help him feel her love while he was away and in return he teaches his mom a trick too! I had our preschool moms help out by writing a note to their kids and giving them a special gift to help them feel comfortable at preschool and they did fantastic!

Back to School Love!!

What a great start to a new year!  I think our parent night and kids activity day were a success!  The kids got to do a scavenger hunt with a parent or other family member to help acquaint them with our classroom! It led them on all sorts of fun activities including putting together a dinosaur name puzzle, creating an all about me collage to decorate our classroom, taking pics in a photo booth, reading a story together and singing a song.
