We had a blast at our Easter Party this year. We did relay races, Pin the Tail on the Rabbit, Easter Egg Games and more! One of our awesome mom's volunteered to help out and brought in cute bunnies to make using marshmallow's and also a fun bunny snack where the kids got to form roll dough into rabbits and add eyes and a nose. Seriously adorable and what kid doesn't love playing with dough!

S is for Springtime
We played this game during our spring unit when we learned about plant parts. The kids took turns digging up carrots and practicing letter names and sounds by saying the name and sound of the letter on the carrot they dug up.
Pin the Tail on Fluffy
We blindfolded the kids and had them take turns trying to get the tail (cotton ball) on the right spot on the rabbit.
Bunny Tails
We made these funny bunnies by stamping them with white Easter cookie cutters and then adding a fluffy cotton ball tail.
Little Bunnies
Oh those expressions, haha! Thanks to another one of my awesome mom helpers for coming and helping the kids make these darling bunny masks!
Easter Egg Nests & Bunny Smore's
I am so lucky to have the most amazing and creative mom helpers! They sent in cute snacks for the kids to make and eat. Some of the girls got a little excited about the frosting...can you blame them? They looked like cute little bunnies!

Easter Party
What a fun party we had! Here's a few of the things we did....One of our moms made these adorable treats for the kids and sent in a fun Easter BINGO game for them to play using pastel M & M's for the markers. Always a favorite game for kids!!! We played pin the tail on the bunny using cotton balls for the tails, we played a counting game using an egg tray with plastic eggs that had "bunny tails" (pom-pom's) inside to count and then find the correct number on the tray to put them on depending on how many tails were inside the eggs. We did a bunny relay race to "Fill the Easter baskets" which YAY, they finally really got how to do the relay! They even cheered on their team members. Usually I have a few kids who just don't get it and wait politely for the other team members to go at the same time as them when they switch team mates instead of playing the game like a race. So funny for me to watch the kids learn to do a relay! We made some cute bunnies using pictures of the kids faces as the bunny face. Instructions found HERE.
Easter Themed Sensory Tub
For this tub I added Rainbow Rice, Easter eggs, carrots, Rabbits & Bunnies, Spring animals, a basket, grass and tools and buckets.

R is for Rabbit
For this make believe activity we hopped around like rabbits looking for our yummy carrots. They of course had 'R's on them to make our lesson about the letter Rr more hands on and interactive. Also, get out some wiggles!
R is for Rabbit Party
We have a very festive class so naturally they enjoyed decorating some spring birds nests. The nests were made of melted chocolate and chow mein noodles. The kids added green frosting for the "grass" and jelly beans for the "eggs".
R is for Rabbit Games
For our Easter Party we played lots of bunny games including Don't Eat the Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny who took your Egg?, and Pin the tail on the bunny. These are classic go to games for preschool aged children that NEVER get old, seriously!
R is for Rabbit's in Rice
Why the Easter Bunny Rabbit, that is! SO....we had a whole Easter collection for the sensory box including pastel colored rice, Easter eggs, Easter grass, play bunnies, etc.
