Z is for Zebra

As part of the zebra theme I added black and white objects to our sensory tub and we made foot print zebras for art.  I let the kids trace then cut out their own foot and then decorate them with black paint.

Zoo Animal Graphing

We took turns graphing our favorite zoo animal.  Tigers and monkeys were popular and tied for first place, next came zebra's and last was another animal that was not listed.  Elephants were not a favorite in our class.

Zoo Themed Sensory Tub

I used all sorts of zoo animals of different sizes, textures, and styles for our zoo sensory tub.  It also included "cages", trees, food buckets and food, people, train and black beans.

Z is for Zoo Animal Size Sorting Activity

We sorted zoo animals into small, medium & large sections.

Z is for Zebra's in the Zoo

We've got kind of a lot going on here.  Black beans, white tubes (black & white), popsicle sticks and all kinds of zoo animals of different sizes and textures.  A big zoo explosion of fun!

Z is for Zebra's

We have some of the cutest zebra's around in our class! These were relatively easy (with some teacher prep) and  fun to make.  The kids had a good time pretending with them and some of the children even named theirs.
