E is for Elephant

We had lots of elephant fun this week including these super fun party blower fun noses.  You should have seen the looks of delight on the kids faces when I showed them how they worked!  We also "fed" the elephants some peanuts (a counting game), watercolored Elmer the Elephant and did a sponge painted Elmer project as well. 

E is for Elmer Elephant

We read the story of Elmer the Elephant and then made and Elmer Elephant craft out of milk cartons and tissue paper.  We also watercolored some Elmer Elephants using the idea found HERE and funny nose party blower elephants using the idea found HERE.  These were very popular with the kids as i'm sure you can imagine!  

E is for Elephant Toothpaste

What a success this experiment was!  This kids talked about it for several days after. The kids got to help add the "ingredients" and then wait and watch.  As you can see it was pretty exciting and we got a nice full "tube" of paste for Mr. Elmer the Elephant.
