I remember doing this activity when I was a kid and loving it so I just couldn't resist sharing the experience with our preschool class. For this fun activity I poured a little corn syrup for each child on a paper plate and then put a drop of red, blue and yellow on it. I then gave the children large craft toothpicks and let them have fun mixing and swirling the colors together. Not only was it fun for them to see the different designs they could make, but they also got to see that when they mixed the colors together they were able to add green, purple and orange to their creations.
