Stop, Drop & Roll

Today we practiced the Stop, Drop, Roll (while covering face) technique so the kids could learn what to do if they were to catch on fire.  They really enjoyed taking turns getting the pretend "hot" fire off of their clothes.  We all helped the kids remember by repeating it together with hand signals.  We held out our hands and motioned the STOP signal, then pointed at the ground for DROP and then rolled our hands around for the ROLL.  We also practiced making pretend 911 emergency calls with our giant phone cutout.  Each child had a chance to participate.
