G is for Garden's

This week we discussed the steps involved in growing a seed to a plant and many of the different things you can grow in a garden.  I added real seeds, black beans (dirt), pots, fake flowers, shovels, fruit, a rake and watering pot to our sensory bin to have an imaginary experience of growing a garden.  I always find it interesting to see how the children internalize the things we talk about in class and how the creative process is utilized through their dramatic play experience.
