More Sight Word Games

For the top game I stacked cups and stuck labels on them with our high frequency words on them (cause I have some perfectionistic tendencies-you could just write on them with permanent markers).  Then I had the kids take turns reading as many words as they could. For every word they read I would let them stack it on our tower.  When they were done they got to pretend to be a Jedi (or princess Leia for the girls) and knock over the cups with the light saber.
For this game the kids would read the words that were typed out and glued to little round pieces of scrapbook paper and then modged-podged onto juice lids.  It's fun because when they put it in the can (I used a formula can and wrapped with a scrapbook square and put a homemade label on it)  it makes a fun clanking sound that the kids really enjoy.  I created these ones on my own using ideas I got HERE.
