J is for Jungle Art

The kids made Chameleon's by painting a paper plate with watercolors into a rainbow design.  I then cut out two chameleon's on a separate paper plate to put on the top of it.  Next I  secured it with a brad so that when they turned the top paper plate the chameleon would change colors.  These were really, really fun for the kids!! We also made parrot puppets which were made by gluing on the parts of a parrot that I pre cut out for them.  The kids got to do the gluing and decorate them however they wanted to with do a dot paint stampers. I think they turned out fantastic!
