Welcome back to another fun and exciting year at Morning Light Preschool!!! To start the year off we had a Chicka Boom Boom party where the kids got to come to school with mom and/or dad and do lots of fun activities and games together as a class. Here is our Chicka Boom Boom Tree activity. For this event you can either have the kids pick a letter and tell you what letter it is (or sound it makes) and then place it on the Chicka boom boom tree. The other option is for YOU to call out a letter or sound and and pick a child to place it on the tree. I thought it turned out pretty cute. I just used moon sand, magnetic letters, and palm trees from my sons army set and put in in a transparent blue shoe box. I got the printout for the tree HERE.
