This week we learned about costumes around the world. I thought this would be a fun activity to go along with our theme. Excellent for hand eye coordination and fine motor development! After a short lesson about chopstick usage and foods in Asia, I gave each child their own set. They were then instructed to try to use them to fill their "bowl" with "rice" which was really cotton balls. They seriously did fabulous and every child was able to get their bowl full one way or another!!
